Open Competition
Friday, Oct. 11 noon 'til 4PM
Sonny Boy Music Room, Helena, Arkansas
While attending the King Biscuit Blues Festival, drop by and check it
out!
Walk-ins welcome, space allowing. $40 entry fee. Small cover, TBA.

Finals
Sat./Sun., Oct. 12/13
noon 'til 5PM
New Daisy Theatre, Memphis, TN
Winners from 30 Blues Society talent competitions from across the US,
Canada, and Australia will go for the title of Best Unsigned Blues
Band of
1996! Winners will be announced after Sunday's competition.
$5 cover. Includes the Sat. night Jam.

Jam
Sat., 8 PM - midnight
New Daisy Theatre, Memphis, TN, free with contest ticket.

VIP Reception: open to all media with ID, competitors and
card-carrying
Blues Society members. A chance to meet and smooze with music
industry
VIPs, the contestants, and other individuals involved with the blues.
Starts immediately after the winner is announced on Sunday.
