Subject: need free advice or free dumb looks

i have noticed that two of my harps have slightly out of tune reeds, one is a
LO c with a flat 4 blow and a hohner special 20 with a flat 7 blow. i dont
know if this info is pertinent, but there ya go. anyways, long and short of
it, i decided to try and salvage these before i buy new reed plates. i am
going to the Magdelaine harp company later today to probably buy the lee
oskar tool kit if they have it, and maybe some replaecment plates just in
case, but i am pretty unknowledgeable about the particulars of the operation.
i have a keyboard that i can use to match pitch, but can anyone tell me any
helpful hints that might make this a painless and non frustrating task? i
usually end up taking longer than id like to tune my guitar, and i assume the
harmoonica is more difficult, so any comments would be appreciated. i assume
also that there is something in the FAQ, i will check that also, because i
realize that this is probably a much discussed topic. I would certainly
appreciate any private emails if bandwidth is a concern, i don't want to be a
cyber gus.

Thank you in advance,
