Subject: Breath control

- -- No doubt this subject pops up quite often but not since I've been watching this list. My problem is breathing whilst playing or should I say the inability to breath properly and ending up gasping for breath after a relatively short spell of playing.
I'm not asthmatic and I'm reasonably fit. Sometimes I get quite despondant especially when I hear stories of people who can blow a note whilst inhaling. If there is anyone out there who can give me some hints I would be very very happy
