Subject: Re: Big Walter recording

In a message dated 96-10-14 16:44:07 EDT, you write:

<< Got an A flat JFG - 'cause I was trying to play some SR Vaughn
and couln't find the key there either until a guitar player told me
about the half step deal. Anyhow - tried the Ad to no avail. Could
be my ear (untrained not tone deaf)- but I don't think so. Still I'm
going to try that draw down deal that you suggest. Thanks. >>

Don't forget that a lot of recordings are not on correct pitch, your tape
player may not play true speed or there may be error in the original
recording. This is when a tape player with pitch control becomes invaluable.
