What to drive a guitar player nuts? ask him/her what he/she thinks of
his/her tone. (was that pc enough for ya?) Tone is tone. It's
important but also very unique. Tone is 80% player 20% equipment.
Valves do not make the difference! I've improved my tone by relaxing
when I play and opening my mouth as much as I can. The goal is to let
my body be as reasonant as possible. You can also try humming the note
yer play'in. That way your oral cavity is at its optimal reasonance.

Dare I say it? I think I have good tone. Just listen to the sound
files in Hugh's library.
