I've just bought a Hohner CX-12 and it has a beautiful tone. But when I work the slide, it "clicks" on and off like a light switch, rather than moving smoothly in and out. When I worked it quite hard it clicked in and then worked like a normal, smooth slide. I took it apart to investigate, and when I put it back together the click was back.
Is the CX-12 supposed to click like this? If not, how can I fix it?
