And I only objected for similar reasons to some of the other voices in
this thread. I think maybe it's a European thing. In Europe, you don't
call someone a Hitler or a Fuhrer (sp?) unless you mean to insult them.
It's a Bad Thing (tm). Like, in the US there is no real way of calling
someone a "mofo" in a "friendly" way.

That was the only point I wished to make. I know you meant it in a
friendly way, and I know that sometimes my list management style borders
on the dictatorial. But I've only ever thrown one person off the list,
and most of my administrative involvement (and frustrations) revolve
around technical issues, not personal ones.

Speaking of which. WRT to another currently running thread which has
crossed the line into petty argument. Please don't make me take my belt
off.

And for BBB - please don't feel that you have caused offense. You just
inadvertantly touched a cultural nerve.
