Jeff, I don't play any valved diatonic, and maybe they work differently
(?) but holes 1-6 on diatonic harps are generally for draw bends, and
typically even hole 5 won't yield much. Blow bends are achievable on
holes 7-10. I usually save blow bends on hole 10 when I'm in the mood
to induce a cerebral aneurysm to myself, I think hole 10 blow bends are
tough. For overblows and such, I leave them to the professionals, the
Levy's, Ironmen, BBB's and their genre. I take the low road and reach
for my chromatic harp. (such a wimp!) Anyhow, hope this helps.
