Buckeye Harmonica Festival 1997
When: April 3 - 5, 1997
What: 21st Anniversary of the Buckeye State Harmonica Club
Where: Columbus, Ohio - (Clarion Hotel in suburban Worthington) The Clarion is a very nice, newly renovated hotel. There is an upscale shopping center across the street with several moderately priced restaurants.
Who: Corky Siegel, Harmonica, Keyboard, Vocals.
Due to other commitments Corky can only spend Thursday with us. He will perform his solo act on Thursday evening. If you have never seen Corky you are in for a real treat.
Thursday will practically be Corky Siegel day. He will do a seminar he usually does for college adult continuing education classes. His two major points are: 1.) Conquering stage fright and 2.) Feeling your music. He claims you can instantly improve your tone by attending the seminar. (Gee, why haven't we ever discussed this subject on HARP-L?) This is not a technically based theory class and you don't need to read music.
What Else? How much? We don't know yet. We are negotiating with some other great acts - and have to work out ticket details.
