Subject: Dirty Ned

Dirty Ned Kraft. Harp-L guy and singer, songwriter,
harp player and frontman superb has a new cd called
"Into Something" with his band "The Hoosier
Daddies." Ned is a powerhouse and his love of what
he's doing is infectious.

He's got a big open voice and he belts out his great
songs and covers with a lot of energy. Now don't me
wrong. Ned is no Howard Levy yet, and is the first
to admit he's still developing his skills as a pro
musician, (Check his recent post about driving
around with a denuded harp practicing overblows) but
this is one reason "Into Something" is so much fun
to listen to. It's raw, unaffected stuff
and a wonderful extension of Ned, himself. As a
fellow "developing" musician. I found the cd to be
inspirational. Singing is good. Harp playing is
good. Songs are good. Band is good. Energy and love
are GREAT.On song in particular about a girl who
dumps him is so convincing that I practically cried.
Heart felt stuff.

Just thought the list ought to know that when a post
comes from Ned Kraft, it's coming from a guy who's
out there doing it with all his heart and a soul.
and the result is definitely worth hearing. Jon
