I love competition in sports where the measures are
easier. You put the ball in the basket more times and
you win.

I feel music is form of expression that I would prefer
not be soiled by the byproducts of competition (including
jealousy, resentment, petty bickering, depression, etc.).
I appreciate comments from all, but would hate to lose a
possible friend or ally by facing off in a competition.

I must admit that I do send our product out for sale and
review and I suppose that is a form of competition, but in
the music market place the pie is so big that I really don't
feel that head-to-head competition for a single piece is
productive (I'm talking sales, not gigs, here).

This said, I vote for people doing whatever they feel
comfortable doing. I must that this group is quite gentlemanly (or
ladylike?, PC enough?) and suffers fools well (and I thank you all).

Keep cool and have a weekend.
