Subject: 520-D Volume control

Hello and a happy new year to all at Harp-l, may your reeds never go out of
tune! I have enjoyed reading the mail over the last month, although I must
confess that resonant bending must be beyond me- perhaps I already do it!
I am considering fitting a volume control to my shure 520D-
which I use through a re-issue bassman. What are the pro's & con's? Should
I install it on the body,[which my local electrical boffin says he can
do],or on the cable? Would some sort of pedal do the same job?
What is Kevin's harps current home page adrs? I ca'nt get
through on the one in the archives?
On a lighter note- my new years resolutions are~
Stop playing the harp whilst driving.
To play one of John Popper's runs note perfect.
Not much chance of either really!
