Hello,
First I would like to wish you all a good 1998. I had the intention to mail this mail more than a week ago, but it didn't succeed. I hope this time this message will get through (my previous three trials didn't). I 've learned a lot from this list. Unfortunately, I don't always have time enough to read it all in detail. I usually skip most of the specific blues and amp stuff.
Thanks to all.
I have a question for the European co-harp-l'ers. Where do you buy your harmonicas ? Do you buy them in Europe (where they are the suggested retail price) or do you mail-order them in America (where they are 30% cheaper ?).
If you order them in America, what method of transport do you choose ? (Ordinary mail, or courrier,...). How long does it normaly takes ? The first time I ordered, it has taken a little two weeks, but my last order of 8 december hasn't arrived yet, so I'm still waiting for my Christmas gifts.
Some people had to be happy with their bottle of spirits as Christmas gift instead of an original C-keyed Marine Band.
Next question : Does Farrell has an email adress ? If anyone knows one, please mail it. I didn't found one, so I faxed to them to know some prices. After they didn't answer my first fax, I faxed back but then again, I didn't receive an answer. So I ordered elsewhere.
