Flitting through recentish archives I see somebody asking about bending with a
block. I also see some one saying that more control is obtained on 2/3 draw
when bent with a pucker. I'm not sure I agree. If you are used to puckering
your bends it takes quite a lot of work getting comfortable with the block
bend, but is no harder once you are used to it.

Mark Hummel and Mark Ford are definite bend/blockers. I am fairly certain that
William Clarke too was a 99% blocker - the remaining 1% being puckered blow
bends.

I think these are fairly good players.
