Subject: Learning scales

One of my new year's resolutions was to learn chromatic harp (I've been
playing third position blues harp for several years, but haven't
ventured very far, outside of transcribing a couple of songs or picking
them out by ear). I've been working a little bit with Richard Hunter's
Jazz Harp. I don't have most of the songs he presents as exercises (I
think Miles Davis' "So What" is the only I have). I decided to start
working on my scales - Hunter has all of the scales tabbed out. This is
very useful, but I'm having trouble memorizing all of them. Can anyone
give me some practice/learning advice? Should I just try to learn one
at a time?

Also, to those of you who publish instructional books - sprial bound
books work much better than softcover books. With softcover books you
have to flatten them out, which damages the spine and causes pages to
fall out. Something to keep in mind to help potential students!
