I find it useful to also practice scales going the other way on the circle
of fifths. C, F, Eb ... I like this cause it helps me learn the circle of
fifths in both directions. Lots of cool cord progresions go counter
clockwise on the circle. The famous jazz progression ii - V7 - I for
example.
