Hi, all. Well, Ironman's Cd just arrived, and I'm listening to it as I type--so please forgiuve typods:)
WOW, Mike can damn straight PLAY:)) He reminds me, tone wise, of Stevie Wonder a lot, probably those valved-bends. But, he has a great style, tone and feel to his playing. He hnever let's notes get in the way ofwhat he wants to say, and he allways keeps it fresh, and sweet:)
Now, as for his voice and guitar and bass and drums, well, they're OK--actually, Mike has a great voice, and a wonderfull guitar strumming style:) Basically, if you like Blues or Fusion-Jazz, GET THIS ALBUM, you will not be at all dissapointed.
BTW, I'm not sure how Mike can complain about Rogain, it looks like he's got a good head of hair imn the cover pictyure:)
Well, now I know why everyones been talking about Take 5 lately, but I'm offt to steal a few licks--actually, I plan to steal MANY licks:) (seriously, I don't steal licks, just like to see if I can get a similar feel:)
