Subject: What is good?

As I read this list I see various comments-opinions about what other
musicians have played. WHAT IS GOOD? If I play a song on a plastic slide
whistle that is out of tune, or do Auld Lang Syne on New Years with my
(heaven forbid) Kazoo, (which I did), and the people that hear it, like it,
even though musically- in a more mathmatical sense, it sucks; Is this not
GOOD music? My personal idea is that no matter what is played as long as
some people think that it is a sound or series of sounds that are in some
way pleasing to them, isn't that GOOD MUSIC? Or am I wrong? (Please don't
beat me)
