Subject: Re: Learning scales

I have some info on my harmonica web page about the circle of 5ths, and
how it is applicable to lots of different kinds of music.

http://www.angelfire.com/tx/myquill/Harmonica.html

Also re scales.. I haven't seen any mention of the diminished scales,
but if you're interested in playing jazz, or even jazzing up your blues,
the diminished scales are good tools to have.

If you use MS IE 4.0+ or Netscape Communicator you can use my
"Harpscript" program to find where the notes in any major, minor, blues,
pentatonic, or diminished scale lie in any position in any key diatonic
(or natural minor) harp.

If enough people beat on me I'll relent and update the program to
include overblows and/or valved bends... maybe... %^] Right now only
normal bends are included.
