Well correct me if I'm wrong, but its my understanding that in 1996 Hohner
made two prototype sets of wholetone reedplates for Wim and Seigfried. I
was under the impression that although they did use existing reeds, the
reedplates themselves were "new" with custom slots. Seigfried knows a lot
more about this than I do, but he's on vacation right now. I now own one
of those sets of plates incorporated into "Toni III".
