I'm wondering about
- - coping licks vs.
- - learning to make your own:
- static
- dynamic.

What is more important?
How do you proportion your practice time?
How much of these do you use in your music
- cop'ed licks
- your own licks
- completely new licks?

Do familiar songs become more and more set with time?

Interested in everyone's thoughts.
