Le Petomaine was known for his great control of sphincter muscles and
the gas flowing through them. I believe the technical term is
"flatulist," or to be more crude about it (and readily understandable),
he was a fartist artist.

I remember reading about him in the FAQ for alt.folklore.urban. Am I
right, Doug? Anyone ever try this with a harmonica? Now that would
keep people from grabbing your harps at the gigs...
