I use U block nearly exclusively. For me, the technique is well suited
for tongue articulations that involve the base of the tongue and mid
portion. However, When I U block, my tongue tip is firmly placed just
below the bottom edge of the comb. I can't imagine how in the world you
can U block and still have enough mobility to articulate with the tip of
the tongue. Do you have a forked tongue?
