Sonny Terry used to tell a story about why he held his harp upside down. He would turn it over and, placing his mouth at the far right side on hole 10 (where hole 1 would have beem in his upside down position), he would play hole 10 and then run off the right side of the harp up his hand and say, "This way I run out."
