Subject: AMPs

I'm in the market for a used Bassman ReIssue... Been checkin out my
local music stores, pawn shops, etc..
I prefer to purchase it locally-(San Francisco Bay Area) so I'm not
soliciting.... But in my search, (to no avail as of yet) I tried out a
Peavy Classic 50 with 4-10" spkrs. (Yellow tweed, looks similar to the
Bassman) It was quite nice, I must say, but I was unable to really
compare, as I couldn't play them next to one another.... The shop with
the Peavy didn't have a Bassman RI, and vice versa....

They're asking $450.00 for the Peavy -(used) $650.00 -(new)
versus $800.00 for the Bassman RI -(new) --{can't find a used one.....}

Does anyone play through a Classic 50-410...? Or had experience with
one (good OR bad)....?
