Greetings all,
Being a total beginner, and searching in vein for harp instruction in my area, I have begun to put together a page of Instructors that include: Name, Contact Address (Email/Snail Mail), Location and Type of instruction available.
Some personal research will be done to find as many harp instructors as possible to list, but my resources are limited. Maybe I'll even eventually find one here in my area :-D It's a bummer trying to go it alone from the beginning! I'm sure most of you remember those times!
Although the harp-l web pages list everyone and their willingness to teach, I will not post any address or name without permission or a request. A link to this list (when completed) will be posted on my harp-l web page at http://www.garply.com/harp-l/home/user.cgi?taylorz It will be intended for anyone who seeks instruction in a particular geographical area to be able to connect up with an instructor. Most beneficial to those of us who are tired of playing the "C" scale and "Mary Had A Little Lamb" over and over, as well as others seeking additional instruction.
Please feel free to let me know if I may add anyone to this list. I honestly feel it might benefit someone who has no idea where to look for help. There are quite a few souls out there who have this "fever" as bad as I do, but don't know where to begin. Consider this free advertising!!!, as I will definately post this list in several places if it gets a decent response.
