According to Tim at Alligator Records:

Carey Bell was in the hospital for a bronchial related illness
which resulted in a variety of medical tests, purely as
cautionary measures. After the testing and a weeks rest,
it was determined that Carey is in good health and is expected to
be back on the road this weekend with a gig in Ohio on the 8th..
