Subject: Re: Which hand do you use for fx?

I'm no pro.... I've only been playing about 5 years, and the first four
were done so with the harp held WRONG....!!! I USED to hold it in my
right hand and attempt a cup for effects with my left, as you describe
you do..... I did this until I got myself a microphone and had trouble
holding it and such....

I had to re-learn how to hold the harp.... Now I hold it in my left
hand (grasped between Thumb and extended index finger and then cup the
rest of my fingers over and of course the right hand over the rest.....

At first I thought it was hopeless... I thought I could NEVER re-learn
this..... It seemed so foreign to hold it with my left hand... but
after a few weeks, it was alright, and now it's totally natural, and I'm
a much better player because of it.... Good luck.....
