So maybe I should try retuning a Slide Harp, so that it is slide out for
ascending scales and slide in for decending scales?

This still leaves the question for our Canadian friend Richard, how are the
harps you are buying tuned? Obviously a "normal" ten hole harmonica can't
have different ascending and decending scales.
