Hello All from Bob Williams SPAH President re: Harp-L-Clubnews
Thank you, Joe Fey, for briefing everyone about the new list Harp-L-Clubnews list.
I would like to briefly summarize the intent and purpose of the new list. It is not in anyway intended to compete with the regular Harp-L list or to be a forum for ongoing discussions of a different thread from those on the harp-l.
The clubnews list is intended to be a list for announcements, gigs lists, sharing of articles on harmonica topics, club events, education, new ideas, problems and/or solutions, events in the lives of members, etc. It is not intended to be a forum for ongoing discussions, though some may ensue occassionally I'm sure. It would be, however, a wonderful forum for posting, in article form, the results of discussions on the harp-l. It is definitely intended to be a forum for commercial announcements. Information of a commercial nature is welcomed. Club newsletter editors are welcome to post their whole newsletter if they have it in electronic form.
No digest version is anticipated. We expect perhaps a couple posts a day. We expect that the members of the harp-l-clubnews will be primarily harmonica publication writers and editors.
If you post any authored piece to this list (not news, but a creative piece you wrote) please include your permission to republish as part of your post. Please also include the exact wording of any credits you require for permission to publish. These two items will expedite your article's publication.
If anyone has any suggestions or comments on the new harp-l-clubnews list please post them or send them directly to me at harpsp~ol.com.
