Greetings: If anyone is able to balance enjoying the Buckeye Harmonica Festival and reporting on it--AHN would certainly like to get a report on what goes on from you.
As usual, the immediate editorial staff of AHN (me) is not able to attend the convention.
Big pay: You get a copy of issue with your article and satisfaction of seeing your stuff in print.
This does not need to be a detailed transcript of the proceedings, but the kind of details that YOU would want to know if someone was telling you about the convention. (This can be someone connected with the Convention, or just as attendee.)
Also, you do not need to be a professional reporter/writer to qualify.
My dues are paid up as a member of the Society of Professional Journalists (for my day gig) , so I can help you out.
If you're interested, communicate with me privately via email. As our deadline falls during the week right after the convention, this would mean the article would have probably have to be filed via email and any photos mailed priority US Mail by Saturday in order to reach me by the early part of the week.
