Subject: Announcement: The Studio (NYC)

The Studio, a music club and rehearsal space in New York City, is open for
business and on the web at http://www.thestudio.org.

The Studio offers a chance for musicians at any skill level to get together
and play with each other in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, and also
to meet and hook up with other musicians for more permanent arrangements.

They also have five rehearsal studios open night and day with mostly
brand-new equipment. Finally they offer lessons and seminars and have an
on-site guitar tech.

They're also sponsoring a Monday night blues jam, hosted by Frankie Paris,
at Downtime, 251 West 30th Street. (The Studio itself is just upstairs).

For more information, see the web site or email mus~hestudio.org. And
come on by! I have no financial interest in this business, I'm just one of
the members who's enjoyed it enough that I volunteered to do the web site
and pass the word around. Would love to see other list members there who
live in the NYC area.

Ken
