Subject: Big River Upgrade vs. Cross Harp Purchase?

I can get a Big River for about $13 and a set of replacement MS cross-harp
plates for about $15. Going this route gives me a good harp and a set of
backup reed plates (the original BR plates). Is there any advantage to the
Cross-Harp comb and cover that would make getting one for $26 a
significantly better option? Seems like paying $2 for a set of backup reed
plates is a good deal. I recently purchased a "Lo F" Big River and was
surprised at how nice a harp it was. I put new plates on an "A" Pro-Harp at
the same time; they were better than the originals, but not that much
better. Comments?

Thanks

Rob
