Subject: SHURE Model 55S

Does anyone know if the SHURE Model 55S is good for anything besides a
paper weight? I have one that was removed eons ago from a radio station, it
is the big mic you see Elvis twisting off a stand in some of those old
pictures. It's way too big to cup for harp, but I thought it might be of
some use, seeing that SHURE has just brought out a reissue of it.

BTW, I put some money down on the Vibro-Champ. Will give more details of it
later.
