Subject: Allen Holmes Intro

Dear List:

I'd like to take a moment to welcome my good friend
Allen Holmes to the List. Allen has been out of sight/
out of mind/woodshedin' for the past few years, and
I guess he's tired of me harassing him to take a
more public role.

He's got one of the best jazz diatonic "minds" and
"technique" that I know of, is a great composer and
arranger, and occasionally will even pick up a dinner
check . . .

So, welcome aboard Allen, and let's hear somethin'
from ya!!!
