I've never played harp in a parking gargae, but I have hit the stairwells of some of the best hotels cross-country. I generally go up to above the 5th floor, where people are not likely to be walking to the main floor. The sound trapped and bouncing between the metal stairs themselves and the concrete walls is dynamite. Richard Hunter in an interview at WPKN (87.5 fm) in Bridgeport, CT had them follow him with a wireless (?) mic into the stairwell for the acoustics. It forced me to write to him as this new thread has forced me to write to you. BTW, I'm listening to the Toots concert in the background, and if you like Toots, you'll like the show. If you've never heard him, and are strictly into the blues, you'll have a very hard time staying with it.
