Subject: big blues harp weekend in boston!

i've got tickets to see rod piazza and the mighty fliers friday
night and tickets to see jerry portnoy on saturday! rod's
at the regattabar, which i've never been to, but it's a classy
reserved-seating jazz/blues club in the charles hotel in
cambridge. jerry's playing at the house of blues, also in cambridge.

i've been a casual blues fan for a while, and just took up
harmonica a few months back. i've been trying to teach
myself from (among other resources) jerry's three-CD set.

this will be the first time i've gone to see any world-class
blues harp live and i get to see two masters in two different
settings in one weekend. can you tell i'm looking forward to this?

are there many other folks on this list from the boston area?
as i said, i haven't been following the scene for long, but
this seems like a pretty rare opportunity.
