Subject: Re: 11th/12th position - Thanks

Thanks for all the posts, cards and letters about my 11th/12th position post.
Now I can return, armed with 25 emails, and tell my friends that I was right
and they were wrong. Here's what I learned--

I can tell them that when I have a C harp and am playing in F:
- -I am playing in the 12th position

But it is harp-chic to say:
- -I am playing in the 1st flat position (in the circle of fourths)

And that when I am playing the C harp in the key of G:
- -I am playing in the 11th flat position.

If I don't have this right, I am sure you will correct me.

Thanks again,

Geoff Chance
