Subject: A whole lot of lipping going on

Greetings all I am very new to this board and full of questions. I
have been playing for almost a month and I am trying to overcome my
first 'task' - lipping.

I have visited several beginner sites, scanned some book and right
now I am using the puckering method. I press the harmonicas firmly
against my lips and tilt it downward allowing my to get a single note.
I notice that the note isn't as strong as when I don't tilt the
harmonica (I know it has to do with airflow).

My question is am I doing this right? Am I doing myself an
injustice by tilting my harmonica? Also, I notice my lips tend to rub
aganst the harmonica and I've tried to lick my lips but it doesn't
seem to help. Is there any perminante solution?

Anyone that has/knows of a site dealing with beginner stuff I
would be greatfull if you passed on the address. And finally, (I know
a lot of questions) does anyone know of a harmonica teacher in
Oklahoma City or near-bye? PS: I wonder what everyone thinks: should
harmonica be taught or learned on its own?

Thanks for reading and I look forward to your wisdom

Tim
