Subject: articulation and resonance

hey y'all:

I've been following the articulation postings with some interest, having
gone recently from using "ta" almost all of the time to mostly using "ka".
I've found that articulating the notes further back in the oral cavity gives
a rounder, fuller sound. also, thanks to some information I dug up in the
harp-l archives, I've been working on articulating in the throat by more
fully using the diaphragm to push or pull the air for the notes which gives
a LOT more depth to my tone.

also, if anyone is still actively tabulating the adherents for different
embouchures, I lip block almost exclusively.

regards,
