Hello Marco,

Sorry to tell you this but the harmonicas that you tried were probably
not defective.

The draw reed in the second hole seems to be exceptiionaly difficult for
most beginers to get a sound out of. This was true for me when I first
started a few years ago. It seems to be a matter of practice and breath
control (perhaps one of the others on the list may be able to clarify it
further) but as you practice and get better on the rest of the
instrument the difficulty on the 2draw should resolve itself. In the
mean time you can get the same note on the 3 blow. Which will seem
simpler to get a sound out of.

Don't get discouraged. As you get going playing the beast will become
more and more a source of enjoyment and fun.
