Hi Benoit; I am the only person in my country I know of who can 'play a train'; except for the bloke who taught me, and I have'nt seen or heard of him for twenty odd years. Here is what he showed me: Te-ha-te-ha. The last 'ha' is a blow; the rest draw. With a relaxed epiglotus, it becomes: Te'e-ha-ha-te'e-ha. The extra 'e' s are hiccups that occur (hopefully) without trying. In this case, the second and third 'ha's are blows (or more precisely, outward breaths, because they are not conscious) and the middle 'ha' a draw. Iworked all that out myself, or lets say it just happened. All he showed me was the first part: 'Te-ha-te-ha'. Good luck. Rick Dempster.
P.S.(I'm trying to un-subscribe from harp-l, (but not the digest). It's not working. Help! Rick Dempster RMIT Libraries E-mail: ric~ib.library.rmit.edu.au
