The next best thing might be the Javascript Harp Layout Generator. You tell it the key, position, and scale type (like major, minor, blues, etc) and it create a picture of the harp layout, with the notes in the scale HIGHLIGHTED in the depiction.
It's easy to see right off where the notes in the scale are on the harp.
My feeling is that this might well be a better way to learn scales than reading tab, and the main reason is the sequence of the notes. If you see the notes in the scale and practice playing (primarily) them *in any order* I think you can get a better sense of where the notes lie and how they sound in relation to each other than if you just play the scales in sequence, top to bottom and bottom to top.
I'll add my opinion that I think it's best to practice scales with a rhythmic content, rather than just a monotonous do re me fa so la ti do ti la so.... Tap out a beat and emphasize the notes in a rhythmically; run some as tripplets; swing the scale...
One more thing about the program's layout.. it shows the scale degree along with the note in the depiction. This makes it easy to see where the flat 3rd is, for example, or the major 7, etc. It also shows overblows/draw so you can see how those can be used in what you're doing.
The program requires a browser that supports Javascript, like Netscape 4.0+ or MS IE 3.0+. There is a link from my harmonica page, or you can go directly there at: http://www.angelfire.com/tx/myquill/Harpscript.html
