Hi! My name is Trey Daniel, and I'm pretty new to playing (about a week). I am learning harmonica as a complement to piano and guitar, so I know how to read music. I'm an aspiring blues artist, I guess. Anyways, I have a couple of questions: 1. I recently bought a Hohner No. 1896 C harp, and it sounds great except that the number 6 hole often makes no sound (despite my best efforts) in the middle of a song. If I leave it alone for a couple minutes and try again, it sounds fine, although it takes a bit more effort to play than the rest of the holes. What gives? Also, my upper notes sound particularly squeaky....
2. Does anyone have the tablature (or sheet music, or recording) of that jail-house-blues thing? In movies, someone playing that song is in EVERY prison. It's seriously overused in film and TV, but it's a neat little song to know, I think....
3. How does one attain that "fat" and "wailing" sound that many blues artists do? It seems to make even high notes much less squeaky and more appealing.
