Kim Wilson and T-Bird Show -
<< He was on stage for approx 1.5 hours, and the first hour primarily
featured the guitar player. Just as I was beginning to dispair that he
was leaving his harp in the case, he let loose. One extended solo (at
least 10 minutes) with just him and the drummer (who was pounding a
steady beat on the bass drum) was fantastic. One deceptively simple
lick after another. He makes it look so easy! I ordered the video of
the SPAH Thursday Nite Blues Blow-Off, and now I'm really looking
forward to it. >>

SPAH Blues Blow Off 2 video set (almost 4 hours of music) features unedited
Kim Wilson set, approx 1 hr 20 minutes. What sets this apart from T-Bird shows
is that, except for one solo from the pianist or guitarist, the remaining time
is all Kim Wilson - singing and playing. (Not to mention the finale, when Kim
invites Portnoy, Salgado, and Guyger to join him).
