Subject: 5th pos. yet again

Just stumbled upon a reference to Junior Wells playing in 5th. In the
book, How To Play The Pocket Harmonica (by Peter Pickow & Jason A. Shulman)
they talk about Junior Wells playing in what they call 4th position, but
what we've been calling 5th, a.k.a. Em (or E Phrygian) on a C harp. Anyone
out there know of any Junior Wells stuff in 5th? I don't exactly trust
this book very much. (Besides calling 5th position 4th, they also
interchange the term "bend" with "overdraw/overblow" and claim that "As far
as jazz is concerned, the only real way to do it is on the chromatic."
Tell that to Howard Levy!) So is there any substantiating evidence for JW
and 5th? - Jared
