Subject: amplifier question

hello harp-lers:

could i ask any of the amp mavens on the list (don d?) for an opinion on the
suitability of replacing 6L6 power tubes with 6V6 in an older music man 50
watt 1x12 amp? will i need to re-bias? how much loss of volume might i
expect?
