This situation might call for some THD Yellowjackets. You take the 6L6's out
and put these adapters in the 6L6 slots, and then you can use EL84's---with no
re-biasing. Sounds like a pretty great idea for making the amp harp friendly.
I dont have the url for Yellowjackets, but it's on the web somewhere. I'll
see if I can get more info.
