Subject: 280 Idiosyncrisy...

Pardon my naivete', but could someone explain to me why draw #16 with
the slide 'in' on a 280 is 'D'? I have been told that this is typical on
280s, and perhaps on hole 12 of 'C' 270s as well, but thus far no-one's
been able to explain to me why. My Super 64 does not 'suffer' this
idiosyncrisy; ie: with the slide 'in', it plays an uninterrupted C#
diatonic scale in holes 13-16.
