Now that I have your attention . . . I realized I need to let everyone know again about "clean-up" on addresses. I do regularly remove addresses from the harp-l and harp-l-digest list that are "bouncing". Usually I am receiving mail either from majordomo or the server for the address telling me that mail is not being received. Sometimes this is very much in error ;-). So, upon occasion I have "removed" folks by mistake. Usually they re-subscribe, but I ran into a few at SPAH as well. I thought I was getting "better" at this, but it is hard sifting the addresses that are truly dead from those that are just "playing dead".
So, if you find yourself suddenly not receiving mail someday, do not panic ;-). Check with me as it may be that I thought your address was bouncing!! If it would be for any other reason, trust me you would KNOW before hand. Also, keep an eye out for friends that may have suffered this fate by mistake as well. Occasionally it has been interpreted as a possible disciplinary move, which is not the case. It is simply a "small technical difficulty" of sorts. AOL users are particularly susceotible to this problem for some reason, so if you use AOL keep an eye out. If you notice anybody "missing" and are concerned about them send them a note or check with me. Otherwise carry on and have fun.
